Who would’ve thought that the liquid that your chickpeas sit in could be made into some amazingly light and fluffy whipped cream that’s easy on the belly?! (Dairy free, nut free, soy free & gluten free - YAY!)
I used this recipe by The Hidden Veggies - however, I didn’t use the oil and didn’t have cream of tartar on me but it worked completely fine! If following her recipe, I am definite it will hold for much longer than mine did, however you were able to re-whip it.
My 3-ingredient (and low maintenance) recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
1 can chickpeas
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or extract
2 tablespoons icing sugar
METHOD:
Drain the chickpeas and save the liquid.
Add vanilla and sugar to liquid.
Use a stand-mixer or hand-mixer to whip till it forms peaks.
