ROSEWATER HOTEL

Thank you to the Rosewater Hotel for kindly having us, and @annabelle.eats.adelaide for extending the invite to us and introducing us to @themeltedfridge 🥰

We ordered:

🥃 Whiskey Wings (Glazed in Jack Daniels sticky sauce)

🐟 Craft beer battered flathead served w/ tartare, chips, salad

🥩 250g Porterhouse steak w/ chips, salad

🍕 Wood oven pizzas: 

🍄 Vegano Mushroom & Spinach (changed to non-vegan by adding fior di latté) - roasted mushroom, spinach, confit garlic, oregano & truffle oil 

🥓 Italiano - Napolitana sauce, fior di latte, prosciutto, fresh tomato, oregano, rocket 

🍅 Supreme - Tomato base, fior di latte, ham, italian sausage, pepperoni, onion, mushroom, olives 

🌶 Umbria Porchetta - Napolitana sauce, fior di latte, kalamata olives, sliced porchetta roast, Spanish onion & red chilli 

🍫 Nutella pizza w/ mixed berries + M&Ms

We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, the wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delish!

The wood oven fire pizzas were larger than we anticipated, and the dough + crust was cooked to our liking; Thin base with a crispy, yet fluffy base/crust. The toppings on the pizza were generous and the flavours were great. We opted mostly for pizzas with toppings that you may not usually find on a regular menu. They had such a vast selection, but we were pleased with what we tried! We really liked the Porchetta one as we enjoy spicy food and they used fresh chillies as opposed to just flakes. The only thing that we could really say is that we thought the prosciutto pizza may have stood out a bit more if the prosciutto was served Crudo style rather than cooked through. The fish n chips and medium-rare steak were cooked to perfection with generous servings.

Overall all the food was seasoned perfectly, the staff were lovely and we would love to visit again and try the different pizzas they have on offer!
