What was intended as a quick lunch with wine turned out to be a great long lunch… with more wine and cocktails, well spent at Super Bueno! Shoutout to Zac for the exceptional service and the tequila shots for our friend’s birthday!
We ordered:
Duck & Porcini Croquettes Confit duck & porcini
Crispy Eggplant Salsa verde & almonds
Burrata Herb salad white bean hummus & market bread
Crispy Rosemary Baby Potatoes
Garlic Baguette
Cavatelli Kale pesto baby peas, charred zucchini & Adelaide Hills goat curd
Pan-Fried Gnocchi Veal shoulder ragu
Taglierini Blue swimmer crab tomato & chilli
All extremely delicious and well-cooked, we really enjoyed the entrees as they incorporated uncommon flavours that were super tasty! The Burrata was really interesting and enjoyed by the entire table! The only little things were that the Kale pesto needed a little zest to balance out the heaviness of the pasta, like some lemon zest or juice. Our personal preference for Gnocchi is one with a bit of bite to it, but other than that no biggies as every drop of that ragu was mopped up with the Garlic bread!
