VALENTINE'S DAY AT GARÇON BLEU (SOFITEL ADELAIDE)

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYONE!


Thank you so much to Adelaide Food Central for extending the invite and to the team at Sofitel Adelaide for hosting us and allowing us to sample the delicious Valentine’s Day Menu at Garçon Bleu!

STARTERS 
Bread/ olives/ butter 

ENTRÉE 
Salmon Fumé/ avocado/ kohlrabi/ dill dressing 


MAIN 
Chateaubriand for two Pommes Anna/ Haricot vert/ Bearnaise sauce 
or 
Délicieux Poached Lobster tail for two Mussels/ Sea Herb Pistou/ Sauce Fines 

DESSERT 
Ile Flottante Strawberries/ Extragon

The entire menu was carefully prepared and the wines we sampled were paired wonderfully. We also got to sample The Lovers’ cocktail. This is available at Garçon Bleu this Valentine’s and includes white rum, rosewater, pink gin, sugar syrup and spanked rosemary. We were extremely impressed with the quality, presentation and taste of the entire menu. Each dish was well balanced in textures and flavours. The standout for the evening was the Chateaubriand as it was super tender and cooked Medium Rare as we had requested.
