New kid on the block in Burleigh Heads, sporting a fantastic contemporary Japanese menu headed by Jon Hizola.
A great intimate setting with an exciting cocktail list (you had us at Yuzu), we tried the #Omakase (Feed Me - $65pp). Really impressed by the dishes we had tonight - Enjoyed everything we had, but the standouts were Tuna Tartare, Prawn Toast Okonkmjyaki, Ebi To Hotate Age & Wagyu Wasabi Pepper Sauce. Appreciated the great array of classics with a twist or fusion dishes that were executed well (Prawn Toast Okonomiyaki & Tuna Tartare).
We were glad that we opted for the Omakase as we were so indecisive, and in doing so… got to enjoy the dishes that we would’ve overlooked, had we ordered à la carte style!
