Feasting it up with Eating Nomad in Adelaide before they headed home to London! Arkhé was on their list of places to try!
Shoutout to Greta (Venue Manager) on her exceptional customer service! Being time poor, we notified her that we had a fringe show to attend and she liaised with the kitchen to make the chef selection work for us (swapping dessert out for an additional dish).
We were impressed by the food and flavours - it was all cooked well and we felt that it was great value for money, opting for the feed me ($120p/h). Most of the dishes were faultless, except the Bone Marrow - we felt that it was overpowered by the parsley.
New staff were still learning and there was a mix up with the gin that we ordered, but when we brought it to the staff’s attention, they were apologetic and replaced it.
Prior to visiting, we were told to check the bill by friends as they’ve been overcharged before, and we were too - so be sure to check your bill!
Overall, would visit again to experience a new menu or dishes we haven’t tried.
