When we heard about this place, we were really enticed when we heard that the menu was inspired by Singaporean and Malaysian classics with his Indian background. We were expecting modern takes on flavours like Satay, Laksa, Rendang, Chilli Crab, Kueh, Kaya…
Though the food was of high quality and well-presented, many of the underlying flavours of each dish were so similar there was just no diversity across the menu. Each and every dish we tried had a hint of, or a bold curry flavour, which made it an unmemorable experience.
Service was also lacking, considering they weren’t busy at all.
Dishes we ordered: Sashimi, Bombay Burger, Pakoda, Koonthal Ularthu, Kalan Koli, Kuruma Iraichi Curry, Roti & Rice on the side, Ma Sarpet.
