KOSHŌ EXHIBITION

Finally got round to trying Koshō Exhibition, which has now replaced Cliché.

We opted for the ‘Feed Me’ option as we were overwhelmed with the delicious options!

Overall, the food was fantastic and the feed me is great value for money if you want to try what they have to offer. Every dish was bursting with textures and delicious flavours. We are quite big eaters, so we felt that we could’ve had a couple more entrees in addition to what we were served.

The portioning was perplexing as despite getting the ‘Feed Me’ for 5, Dishes like the Tataki, came with 7 pieces… There were 4 Prawn & Lobster Crepes, 6 Chargrilled Prawns……. The dishes just needed to be modified in terms of numbers, rather than just plating up a regular serving. It creates an awkward atmosphere at the table when sharing!

The Beef Cheek was packed with flavour, but not quite as tender and ‘fall off the bone’ like as we had hoped and the Sesame Rocket Slaw was quite bland, it needed more dressing. The Pork Jaw was absolutely to die for, the meat and fat was super juicy and just melted away in the mouth!

Dessert was outstanding in terms of presentation and taste; we were spoilt for choice… So we ordered all of our favourite picks (but we were sad the Passionfruit Tartlette was unavailable!).

Standouts for us: Prawn & Lobster Crepes, Pork Jaw, Mushroom Medley & Teriyaki Salmon. Couldn’t decide between all the desserts, so just order them all if you have the stomach space (haha!).

What we had:

Kingfish Sashimi, Beef Fillet Tataki, Prawn & Lobster Crepes, Snake Beans, Pork Jaw, Confit Mushroom Medley, Beef Cheek, Teriyaki Salmon (with side of sushi rice), Sesame Rocket Slaw, Chargrilled King Prawns & Murray Valley Pork Cutlet.

Vanilla Crème brûlée, Yuzu & Lemon Soufflé, Chocolate Cake & Giant Profiterole.
